One World – One Hope – Jetaime offers a Marketplace for Relay for Life – free use for everybody

WHAT:
One World One Hope – Je’taime offers you a marketplace dedicated to “Relay For Life.” Everybody and every team can use this with just a small Market-License fee of 100L which is also donated to the American Cancer Society.

WHY:
Our goal is to create a collection of designers from all over the grid who will offer their latest designs as well as
items that have been available for some time, including discounted older clothes. We’d like the marketplace to offer something for everyone … fashions for both men and women and in every style imaginable.

Anybody can offer products, but only RFL donated vendors must be used to do so – this is to ensure that 100% of every sale goes directly to the American Cancer Society.

If you are interested in being involved in this great way to both market your Company and help a worthy charity, please contact a member of our committee.

HOW:
Please follow the rules of RFL and remember this is a PG 13 event.
If you are not already a member of a team, we invite you to join ours.
After buying a licence (note: Jetaime Team members are free of charge) contact a person from the committee to become a group member with Rezz-Rights.
Rezz your RFL donated Vendor(s), resize and place it.
Every team is welcome to join, it will help us to increase our team result (Team number 81)

WHEN:
This event will run for quite a while and you can change your vendors anytime.

The team Je t’aime for “Relay For Life” will hold events to promote the marketplace.
Some of the ideas currently being considered are a treasure hunt filled with prizes from the designers in the team, live music concerts, live DJs performing at a party, a fashion show and much, much more.
Everybody who wants to help with events is welcome. Live DJs, musicans and any other entertainment(s) please contact us.

The team of Je t’aime want to thank you very much!

Many thanks to the organisers of the 2009 Clothing Fair. Such a huge undertaking never comes off so smoothly without a lot of work. To the contributors and shoppers, again thank you for proving once again what is possible with an outpouring of generosity and heart. To the sufferers, survivors, and families of those battling cancer, our prayers, and hopes that money raised will find the cure we all hope for.

This year our Team Je t’aime for Relay for Life was proud to raise $L50 743 for the cause. Thank you to all who helped. Mascha Boa and Marscha Lowey each donated $L12 500, as they’d promised to do when the team reached the $L50 000 goal.

All together the fair raised millions of $L, 4.5 Million from the Relay Raiders(the organisers) alone. Today “Relay for Life of Second Life” reached 11 Million $L- thats more than 40.000 US dollars! What an amazing feat! I applaud you all loudly.

But…….we’re not done yet! The relay continues until the middle of July.

Je t’aime are preparing a Marketplace for Relay for Life. Don’t delete your rfl donated vendors because you’ll need them to take part. Every team will be welcome, the site at our wonderful Je táime Sexy Fashion sim thrown open free of charge to further help this worthy cause. More info coming soon.

Here at Je t’aime we are a family and in every family cancer has touched someone. During this time of year the Relay For Second Life drive is huge gridwide. Please take some time out of your day to drop a few $L in a RFL donation box, offer something to be auctioned, attend a RFL event or donate your talents or services to a RFL team. Behind every avie is a person. Some people in SL are RL Cancer survivors. Share the love that makes this and every world go around and Thank you for your support of RFL.

How you can help:

Je táime has set a kiosk and vendors in every store as well as at the fair. Not only does I myself donate all preceeds from the sale of these products to help raise funds for the Cancer society, but me and my brother have offered to add 25.000 more if our team reach the 50.000 L in donations. (and we will reach!!! Team total as i write this post: 26815 L$ – thank you very much everybody who helped us)

Every single Lindendollar counts:

Please read this: Our team is proud that we have now raised over 26815 Lindendollars – that’s more than 100 US Dollars!!!

Jetaime is only one team of more than 100 teams in the Relay for life – and all teams together raised more than 6.600.000 Lindendollar – YES! you read right – 6 Million!!!!

Thats about 25.000 US Dollar – and this is only the start!!!!

The 2009 Fashion Fair is such an AWESOME event! Live music, treasure hunts, fashion shows, secret auction, freebies and now Neva (one of the organisers) has offered to wear silks for a month if we raise a million linden a day. So far we’ve been doing it, anxious to see his hairy legs exposed. Help keep a good thing going and support this worthy cause. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society for their research and international projects.

Its time for the first annual Clothing Fair RFL Photo contest!

Category name: RFL exclusive style (both categories: Male and Female)

Goal: Mix and Match the exclusive items available from the RFL-kiosks during RFL Clothing Fair to create a composite style.
Each Item must be purchased from the fair.
The look must include items from at least 3 different designers.
The person must add on the description of the photo the reference of store name and item name for each RFL-item that comprise the final look, so other people can buy them if they wish have the same look.
